I am a visual designer and art director for technology companies, working alongside both brand and product to give a voice to both creators and commerce. I believe that software should feel human.

I was the first designer at Cards Against Humanity, where I built a thriving brand, internal design culture, and community around the game. Afterwards, I led design of both brand and product for a digital art platform (Electric Objects), rebranded creator tools for musicians (Splice), and told the stories of artists across the globe (Etsy). Until recently, I was helping redesign the future of work at Slack, and now help create human-scale networks at Tailscale.

I also maintain an independent practice as an editorial illustrator and designer, working for a number of clients — including The New York Times, The Atlantic, Jacobin, MIT Technology Review, The Wall Street Journal, Adobe, Skillshare, Vox, & Medium.

Aside from all that, I am a lifelong cyclist who makes art, designs textiles, and develops dumb websites.
